When you are first told about Treehotel, there are either two routes that your mind may immediately jump to: questioning whether your knowledge is being tested by an unusual joke, or your inner-adventurer may start conjuring up your own interpretation of what an array of sky-bound tree houses would look like. However, the only visual that will do the location justice, is seeing it in real life. 

Located an hour's drive north of Luleå airport, Treehotel can be found hidden in the forestry of Harads. Upon the approach, one can see the pods suspended in the sky adjacent to one another.

Each room has been purpose built to represent its own individual themed fantasy - easily making them both luxury accommodation, and object d'art. Visited by one of our own ASCENO family members, Alex Kellock, the hotel's newest pod - 7th Room - gives the best vantage point to watch The Northern Lights.

One of the best parts of staying at Treehotel is the extensive range of activities available. Get in touch with nature through a variety of explorations with hikes across the forest or nearby nature reserves, explore the moose safari or go horse riding, or of course caputure The Northern Lights. 

As the day of adventure draws to a close, or if you so desire, allocate a whole day to well deserved R&R in either the Tree Sauna or Forest Spa.
