The Responsibilities

  • Attend and contribute to strategy meetings with the founders
  • Contribute to and update the daily and weekly content calendars 
  • General content creation of fashion, travel, product features and the execution of this online (eg. Social Media, Newsletter, Blog etc) in order to drive traffic, engagement and revenue.
  • Responsible for a consistent brand look and feel across all channels (online shop, social media, mailers) but the founders will be in close communication on everything.
  • Organizing seasonal social content shoots.
  • Review performance of content on a daily, weekly and monthly basis with the founders – whilst also monitoring content activity of competitors both in ecommerce and editorial.
  • Work closely with influencers to drive traffic to ASCENO.COM & develop the brand relationships.
  • Attend events and produce content for social media channels as required – including Facebook Live, Instagram Stories and Snapchat


The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of commercial and editorial fashion writing for the digital industry
  • Track record of delivering targets
  • The ability to create inspiring content with sharp copy-writing and editing skills 
  • An innate sense of the ASCENO luxury customer
  • An eye for detail and ability to pull together merchandise and visuals that reflect the ASCENO luxury aesthetic
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
  • Experience of working in a fast-moving, reactive environment with competing deadlines and priorities
  • A love and encyclopaedic knowledge of fashion 
  • A keen interest in social media and all things digital
  • Experience in Photoshop

We are looking to hire a dynamic and organised Operations / Logistics / Accounts Manager to join our creative and energetic team who are truly passionate about delivering innovative and beautiful product, on time and with the best service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the logistics and operations across our wholesale and e-commerce and all of its functions. This role is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious individual who is energized to continuously improve processes within the department and indeed the company.  




  • Raising wholesale invoices and re-sending invoices where invoice receipt has not been received. This is busiest in season and imperative to ensure invoices are raised on time.
  • Raising wholesale credit notes and liaising with warehouse on returned goods.
  • Manage sales commission monthly reports for agents and download monthly sales report from Zedonk for accountant.
  • All warehouse communication / from ex-factory to store journey management.
  • Ensure all wholesale orders go out promptly and ensure warehouse have priority list when goods arrive. This is something that needs constant checking throughout season and as new delivery windows approach.
  • Wholesale orders who require submission of shipping documents prior to delivery must be managed in the critical path window. Liaise with sales on which customers this applies to.
  • Follow up and liaise with sales to ensure goods are on the shop floor 1 week post delivery.
  • Raising proformas and sending to all relevant customers after selling season (liase with sales on timings) using zedonk to ref terms. Chasing and re-sending unpaid weekly.
  • Ensure tracking for shipping is sent to all wholesale stores – liaise with the warehouse to do this.
  • Liaising with sales on any in season top up orders and instructing warehouse to ship.
  • Manage stock swaps and returns


  • Liaise with production to send all packing lists for upcoming orders from factories to warehouse.
  • Manage warehouse to ensure all e-commerce orders go out on time and that tracking is sent to customers by the warehouse.
  • Ecommerce – check warehouse are packaging goods to ASCENO standards (set by creative team)
  • Ensure warehouse have stationary ahead of ecommerce deliveries (look books / post cards etc)



  • Download monthly reports for accounts – bank statements / zedonk invoices/ paypal.
  • Approval of supplier payables (logistics / purchases)
  • Ensure all stock systems are talking to each other efficiently (JOOR / SHOPFIFY / ZEDONK AND WAREHOUSE), and that the stock matches the physical stock in all locations at all time.
  • Liaise with production when goods are checked in by warehouse to check what was received matches what was paid for.
  • Liaise with fulfilment / import company when goods are ready to ship to cross check freight quotes and go with best price.
  • Manage relationships with shipping companies and regularly analyse these costs, sourcing alternative shipping methods when necessary.
  • Implements new systems to help business run more efficiently.
  • Monitor packaging levels and re-order when necessary.
  • Shop around on packaging costs to improve margins and look at new suppliers etc.
  • Margin analysis, look to improve margins through improved logistics.
  • Analyse business overheads and look for more competitve rates / improved efficiency across the board.
  • Liaise with marketing to ensure seasonal gifting is managed with the warehouse from send out to delivery confirmation.
  • Manage monthly stock takes – liase with warehouse for this and send to accountants.
  • Manage trade show and event logistics.


The Ideal Candidate

The skills and profile we are looking for are:

  • 2 year or more experience in a relevant operations position with strong knowledge of accounting, receivable and payables, ideally in a fashion business
  • Demonstrable experience of managing teams and coordinating tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Understanding of inventory accounting, stock movements and adjustments
  • Very strong communication skills with excellent use of written English
    • Fluency in additional European languages is an advantage.
  • Well organised and effective person with good time management and prioritisation skills
  • A self-starter and motivated person, who can demonstrate initiative and able to work independently when needed
  • A team player who likes to work in a very dynamic and international environment
  • Eager to take responsibilities and take initiative
