As Head of Sales, you will lead the global wholesale strategy and will be responsible for generating and managing the wholesale revenue across swimwear, beachwear and sleepwear. You will strategically develop and nurture the relationships with global department stores, online retailers and independent boutiques plus luxury hotels and resorts. You will cover all areas including North & South America, Canada, UK, Europe, Middle East, Russia, Asia and Australasia.

Working with the CEO and Creative Directors, you will be central in the formation and then implementation of a strategy for wholesale growth as well as managing, monitoring and ensuring every step of the sales process is carried out correctly.




Broadly, your key roles and responsibilities are to ensure:

  • A wholesale strategy is in place - and implemented.

  • Sales targets are reached.

  • To fulfill these responsibilities, you will be responsible (directly or indirectly) for:



Budgets - ensuring Sales revenue and expenditure is in line with targets. Work closely with Finance to constantly monitor these.

Contributing to the Strategy - be an active part of the Management Team. Participate in weekly MT meetings as well as liaising/meeting with other MT members/departments to support your work where needed.

Critical Path management* - ensuring all deadlines related to and/or affect Sales are implemented on time and correctly.

Market preparation*- ensuring everything needed for Market is planned and ready, well in advance/in line with the critical path. This will (but not exclusively) include:

Pricing liaising with Merchandising and Production Team
Showrooms - launch and maintenance of a seasonal showrooms (direct operated and through sales agencies)
Tradeshow registration/stand design and set-up when required
Appointments and events
Samples timing for sales purposes
Linesheets prep

* To note - Although you might not be directly responsible for all of these you do have a responsibility for ensuring all departments are aware of your Teams needs and bringing concerns or delays to the attention of Senior Management if things are running late. This role requires a greater awareness of what is happening in other areas of the business including design, production and distribution.

Relationship building Ensuring you and your Team are constantly supporting existing, as well as developing new relationships with department stores and independents. Establish and maintain high level contacts and a close and effective working relationship with key store groups in your territories and potential new markets globally.

Support for stockists - Ensure excellent staff training, monitor sell-through, lead on exchanges/returns/sale, provide VM materials when required and other.

Data Entry ensure Sales related data and order processing through our systems is up to date and accurate.

Reporting generate, collect and/or provide reports on a range of issues such as: Sell through (weekly where possible) reports from stockists.
Market feedback - to CEO & Creative Director on existing product as well as providing influence on forthcoming collections. Working closely with merchandising and production you will feedback wholesale market trends to influence collection structure and aesthetic.

Competitive analysis - to further opportunities and ensure collections meet the needs of new markets.
updates - to the CEO and Creative Director.
Market conditions - to keep management fully aware and updated any range of external issues that might affect the business.

Communicating the brand philosophy as well as new product developments to existing clients and prospective new clients.
Liaise and collaborate with PR & Marketing teams on wholesale marketing activities, promotions and advertising.




You will have:

  • Experience in global wholesale sales within an established luxury brand, preferably

    at management level.

  • A proven track record in meeting targets through Wholesale sales.

  • A comprehensive understanding of the UK and international luxury market and the

    opportunities available for Asceno.

  • Comprehensive experience of order processing systems and dealing with key

    accounts internationally.

  • Knowledge of an IT system and proficient in all Microsoft packages, especially Excel.

  • Passion and keen interest in the luxury fashion market.
