“We wanted to create something that was a reflection of who we are at our core. We both became obsessed with the idea of creating a collection of beautifully designed yet versatile items that can be worn both day and night, beach and bar. We wanted to create a brand that allowed people to be the purest versions of themselves – elegant, relaxed, and effortless. The idea was to blur the lines between lounge and ready-to-wear.” – Poppy, ASCENO founder and designer.
“ASCENO is about simple sophistication and laid-back style. The brand takes quite a lot of inspiration from the relaxed tomboy spirit of the early 90s. Sometimes it has a bit of a Parisian feel. Many pieces incorporate stripes, both bold and delicate, so that has become a key part of our DNA. One thing that always pulls our collections together is an insatiable desire to travel the world and look effortlessly cool while doing so.
